2023 Football Kick-off Weekend

Lisa Reilly, Commonwealth Professor of Architectural History, School of Architecture at the University of Virginia, joins us for a tour of The Parthenon, Nashville’s Art Museum.

The Parthenon is a replica of the Parthenon in Athens, Greece, which serves as a monument to what is considered the pinnacle of classical architecture.

During the tour, we will discover four art and history galleries, explore the interior recreation of an ancient temple, and learn about the history of the Parthenon. We will browse a renowned collection of art and enjoy the impressive architecture.

Comfortable walking shoes are encouraged. Walking, climbing steps, and standing are involved in this tour. Those with mobility issues may take the elevator.
